270 Micro Sprints, 15 Laps:

Final lap excitement as Michetti gets the win….  Marco Michetti came to Middleford Speedway for the first time this season and met with success both in his heat race and the feature. JT Knight took the lead from his pole position to start the 270 feature race. On the first lap, two separate pileups called for a caution.  Wozunk, Metz and Steller were unable to rejoin the race. On the restart Knight remained in the lead as Michetti worked his way, having started in sixth, to second, taking the position from Justin Jones. Michetti chased Knight trying the high side and the low side to get that first spot. 600 Micro Sprints, 20 Laps:

Another win for the Warfield Boyz… It was season win #2 for Jason Warfield. The elder Warfield brother started on the pole and had to drive a flawless race to maintain the lead. Hard charging Luke Thomas maneuvered his car through traffic from his seventh place start up to second to put pressure on Warfield. He looked high and low but Warfield did not waiver and held on tight to get the win. A tough battle between Joey Startt and Matt Esham ended with Startt edging Esham out for third place. Rookie Mod Lites, 15 Laps:

Two weeks in a row for Josh Clark …. Caution flags waved often for the Rookie Mod Lites. Pole sitter Stacy Roberts claimed the lead at the green flag. The 27 car of Nick Nash spun, bringing out a caution and sending him to the rear of the pack.  A couple laps later, following another caution for a spin, a three car pileup in turns 1 and 2 sent Brandon Watkins to the infield and sent Roberts and Zac Weller to the rear. Clark was in the lead on the restart and remained there. Nash worked his way back up to the second position getting around Chace Biron.  Complete results are 1) 49, Josh Clark  2) 27, Nick Nash  3) 29, Chace Biron   4) Z14, Stacy Roberts  5) 1, Zac Weller  6) 4, Brandon Watkins

Jr Mod Lites, 15 Laps:

Derek McGee makes it two in a row... The two Jr Mod Lites proved that there does not have to be a large number of cars to make an exciting race. Adam Weber took the lead after the green flag started the race and drove hard as McGee hung on to his heels. With just three laps to go, a spin by McGee’s car brought out a caution. McGee took the lead at the restart and held on for the checkered flag to get his second win in two weeks.  Complete results are:  1) 96, Derek McGee   2) 20, Adam Weber

Pro Mod Lites, 15 Laps:

Ackenbrack brings the win home…. Last week a battle between future Marine, Donnie Ackenbrack, and Scott Tessman ended with a checkered flag for Tessman. This week Ackenbrack was able to reverse that and take the win for himself. Tessman started the race from the pole with Shawn Weber lined up in second. Ackenbrack make quick work getting to the front from his third place start and held on to a comfortable lead for the caution free 15 laps. An impressive race by the Tyler Hughes car, charging from his last place start to give a hard run at Tessman for the second spot. TUSA Mod-Lites, 15 Laps:

Tyler Hughes takes the TUSA’s… The 70 car of Tony Aguilar had the pole position but didn’t get to hang on to the lead long as he got sideways on the track and the car flipped hard. Although he was okay, his evening of racing was done. On the restart Tyler Hughes led the way but caution flags kept the field close together. The Donnie Ackenbrack car worked his way around Shawn Weber to a second place spot and began to put pressure on Hughes. The two cars raced closely, contact was made as they neared the checkered flag. Hughes was able to hang on to his car and to the lead for the win.  Complete results are:  1) 8H, Tyler Hughes   2) 91, Donnie Ackenbrack  3) 19, Shawn Weber  4) 72, Tyler Reed   5) 9, Scott Tessman  6) 70, Tony Aguilar

¾ Scale Late Models, 15 Laps:

Kerry King scores another win… It was a close battle between Kerry King and Dylan Evans for the second week in a row. Evans took the race lead from his front row start alongside pole sitter Scott Hitchens following a lap one caution flag. Evans led past the halfway mark while King started to put the pressure on him. The racing was close, the two cars battling for the same ground. King worked his car under Evans and edged by him to take the lead and held on with Evans closely following the rest of the way to the checkered flag.    Complete results:  1) K&B, Kerry King  2) 80, Dylan Evans  3) 3D, Ray Gulliver  4) 15, Scott Hitchens

NAPA Chargers:

It’s Jeff Carey’s week to win… From the very start of the race, Jeff Carey was on the move. His made an exciting drive from his 6th place starting spot right through the middle of the pack. A caution flag for a hard crash by Derek Swafford as he took a hard hit into the wall grouped the cars back together. Pole sitter Ashley Merritt led the way again followed by Tyler White. White was able to work his way around Merritt to take the lead but Carey was coming fast and grabbed the first place spot. Jay Sipple and Kyle Tubbs advanced to the third and fourth spots.  Complete results are:  1) X, Jeff Carey   2) 27W, Tyler White  3) 27, Jay Sipple   4) 60, Kyle Tubbs  5) 61, Ashley Merritt  6) 37T, Chris Martinez  7) 89, Derek Swafford
